Nutrition Strategies and Mindfulness Techniques for lasting physical and psychological well-being

Learn the info and practice the techniques every week to enjoy stress re-framing as an ingrained habit! Join Virginia Preston, BA Psych, RYT - 500 Hr of True Nature Yoga, and Angela Wright, BSc, CNP, RNCP, of Align Nutrition, for a workshop that focuses on YOU.

Nutrition Strategies
• Learn the role of food in obtaining health and your goals
• ‘Your body as a barrel’ and how to reduce the stress from all that you toss into it
• Proper macronutrient choices and meal timing for blood sugar control, energy, and emotions
• Specifics for PMS, peri-menopausal symptoms, and adrenal hormonal balancing

Mindfulness Techniques
A balanced mind is the beginning of improved health and well-being on all levels. Explore a number of mindfulness tools:
• Guided meditation, breath work, and emotional freedom techniques (The SEDONA Method and The Work)
• Increase your awareness of how mind and body are connected
• Experience concrete, practical tools for shifting your internal state from stress to ease and calm
